Not running right
Well I just put the injector pump in after it was just rebuilt ..I could not find the D over c mark on the fly wheel the only marks I found were 88 ..26 and dd over cc I set the fly wheel to th dd/cc mark and lined up the marks on the injector pump ..went together easy ..I bleeded the lines and after alittle while she kicked over ..started running but did not seem like it was running full tilt so I shut the machine down after 10minutes of run time looked at the machine after shut down if everything looked ok ..well I went to restart it and did not start right up after awhile of ranking it over it started up again running on like half speed ..is there something I messed up with the marks on the flywheel ..or the pump it self ..help if u can ...or please don't tell me the pump is broken ...info please ...1964 1010 diesel crawler
It is difficult to say based on the information given. I'm assuming you're dealing with a 144 John Deere.
Are you 100% sure you had no air leaks and all your fittings were tight ?
You sure you got it bled properly ?
Was your fuel ok ? IE: If water in the fuel or bad fuel was part of the equation that led to a pump rebuild(as if 40 years of time isn't enough).
All those are possibilities, but if the pump isn't timed in, all bets are off.
I hate to be an jerk, but I'd retime. If you aren't sure, find someone who has done this on 144 and get them to walk you through it.

Be sure you have the fuel lines both open, as it sounds to me that you're starving for fuel. Also see that your throttle linkage is operating as it should. gregjo1948

well i was just outside working on the crawler ... it started it up.... it seems that only the first injector on the left side of the engine is spraying fuel... it looks like the fuel is trying to be pumped out from the injector pump... is there a way to set the pump ... when u first put it in.... can i turn the pump while it is running to see if that helps with pumping the fuel to the injectors ...
Sounds like it still needs to be bled.

is there a bleeder on the pump... when we bought the crawler it did not have the original fuel stage system... it has a single new filter the filter was just changed ... the fuel flows excellent to the pump ... it says in the manual to crack the injector nuts and let the air bleed out ... is there something else i need to do ... could i call somone to resolve this over the phone ...
Crawler has to running to bleed injectors, only way. Get it running again, and crack the injector line at the injector til you get fuel coming out. You will hear the difference as it starts to hit on that cylinder when you retighten the line.

Then, all things being equal, there is air in the other 3 lines, keep bleeding til they have all the air out. You must be getting something there, or it would not run, one cylinder is not enough.
