Brake Connecting Rod 40c

Does anyone know the correct hole to hole length for the AM860T connecting rod that goes to the brake bellcrank in the 40c clutch housing? A previous owner obviously made the one in my crawler and I don't think it is the right length as the screw in the upper rocker arm has been replaced with a long one that barely reaches the stop on the brake lever and is at a strange angle. I think the homemade rod is too short.
