lavoy,
need to see what parts may cost for the following....
cyl liner plate
gasket
pkg or o-rings
head gasket
valve cover gasket
when replacing shd new rings be put in pistons?
here is problem....one cylinder seems to be stuck..exhaust is sealed with elbow and piped to muffler over top of rops...so no rain etc can enter...would a head gasket be cause of water in cyl? fella claims runs great but after couple hours is using radiator fluids.
looks like this is a 1963 jd 2010
advise any comments and thanks

I would do some more digging prior to ordering any parts. What you are looking at will get pricey if not the actual problem. I sometimes can get oversize pistons for the gasser, so if your deck plate is good, I would bore it and put in new pistons as opposed to a new deck and used pistons.

ok... once i get unstuck i will check compression....tho suspect it will be a bit low if i cannot warm her up......dont need to pull engine to yank the pistons do we? i suspect will need at least valve cover gasket and head gasket once i determine if i need to pull the head.
also just cuirious if anyone has a fuel tank available...price and where? am in akron, ohio
