40C Track Pins & Bushings

Post by Tom Mazz / CT » Tue Jan 14, 2014 12:25 pm

Hello All,

I am new to this forum and working on model 40C tracks. Trying to locate new replacement track pins and bushings. I have been told that they are no longer produced and am looking for suggestions on what to do. IF I could locate a couple of NEW sample parts I might consider manufacturing replacements.

Any source of supply would be a great help.

Digging around in the shop today I found five NOS pins and four bushings from rebuilding my three-roller 40C years ago. You can have them for $30 plus shipping. Paid Deere a lot more but they are excess and you can order fewer from JD. Did mine myself but had access to a 100 ton Hydraulic press and forklift. Took the pads off and coiled the track on a pallet. They sure squalled a lot coming out!
