New pumps have not been available in probably 20 years other than if you find an NOS one. Only thing out there is going to be used.

A few months ago I had no oil pressure and the roll pin on the drive gear had snapped off. I fixed that and everything was fine. A few weeks ago I needed my baby to plow snow and no oil pressure again. I cant imagine whats going on but I just wanted to buy a new pump install it and be done. Now I don't know what to do if they don't make them any more. Do they sell a rebuild kit for the engine oil pump???? Ive seen used ones on Ebay but who knows what your getting!!!! Any advice????

No kits, no parts. Take yours apart and see what you find. Sheared pin is usually ice.

Exactly!!! The first time was ice. Took it all apart cleaned everything fresh oil and it was fine. Machine sat for about 2 months it had no trace of ice but had no pressure. I found a few pumps on ebay that look the same but they are listed for different machines. Are the pumps the same in all those earlier machines???

Something else might be up, new pin should have fixed the problem. I would make sure of the problem before buying a different pump.

Do you know the pump quit again? If not, check the pump again to be sure.

I didn't take it apart yet. My last visit to the mountain it was 0 degrees!!!! I was not laying in the snow and dropping the pan. I unscrewed the gauge and just a little oil came out. I don't know what else it can because there isn't much to the system. Next year it will be parked inside the garage rather than next to it!!!!!
