crawler attachment

Was they a cable laying attachments made for the eirly crawlers?
I remember seeing a picture awhile back that had a spool on the front of the crawler and the line fed over your head and down to what looked like a panbraker.
Any one have a picture?

Yes there were, can't think of what the number was, but have seen literature with the attachment you describe on a 440.

If I ever found one I'd have to buy it. My dad bought his first plow in about 1980 and is going to retire this year at the age of 68.

I've seen brochures showing them on 2010's and 450's and we have many base tractors to choose from. I think it would only be good for plowing telephone cable 18" deep based on what it takes us to plow 1" gas line 32" deep. Still would be incredible to find one.
