leaking dozer blade cylinde

Post by tony hammes » Fri May 23, 2014 3:32 pm

I'm having trouble with the right side hydralic blade lift cylinder on my 52 mc leaking fluis. I took the inside cap off and put a peiceof leather in to tighten it up. It was leaking on the inside and now is leaking out both sides. Any kits made for the lift cylinder? Thanks

Your local hydralic repair shop will probally beable to find seals to fit the cylinder.

Integral cylinders are all O-rings. Pull the lift shaft and put in all new O-rings and backups, put an extra backup on the inside side of the cylinder. Be careful to get the lift shaft indexed correctly when you put it back together.

Thanks for your help Lavoy. The steering clutch kits u sold me a few years ago worked famously. I'm very happy with them.

Any good hyd shop should have them along with the O-rings.
