New to board, can use a little help
I'm new to the dozier owner and just got a gas 1010 crawler with a 6 way blade. It has a attachment point in rear for a back hoe. I am using it on my northern Michigan property for brushing and trail making. I can't seem to find a serial number on it to figure out the year it was made and such. Can any one tell me where to look for it? Would like to get a manual and parts list so I can fix it up a little. Any help would be great.

Welcome to the board-
The serial number is typically located on a small data plate installed on a flat spot on the right side of the engine block. it could be that it is simply covered over with grime and not visible- with a little gentle cleaning you might find it. If not, it is possible that the plate came loose or the engine was swapped out and it is gone for good.
In that case, some parts changes at certain serial number breaks could help narrow it down. Luckily the year doesn't usually matter; however the serial number breaks do. I don't know for sure on 1010s but based on the 2010s I would guess that the major parts with a serial number break on a 1010 mainly have to do with the engine (injectors, glow plugs) and possibly undercarriage (primarily the type of track adjuster).
