1967 350 loader, have final drives off to rebuild steering found oil on one side where did it come from and how do i fix it? do not know history of tractor before me , oil in final drive looks to be ok and looks to be 90w. most of the oil is on the break band . the outher side is just old and rusty and stuck together someone put new fiber disc next to old rusty steel disc.

Usually it is from the pinion shaft seal on the final drive. Even if it isn't, I would replace it while you are in there and check the bearings.
If not the pinion seal, then it is likely the carrier seal in the rear end. Look at the throwout tube and see if there is oil coming out of it, that will pretty much tell you.
