JD440IC Hydraulic pump ?'s

My dad and I have a 440IC that we purchased with a busted hydraulic pump, so we could move the machine but not the loader or backhoe. We have recently aquired a pump thanks to rustycrawler however we have put it in yet because of a few bumps in the road. First off the pump we had was Cessna and the we now have is a Hydreco(can provide serial nimbers if neccesary) are they compatible? Secondly the linkage between the two pumps is off by abouta 1/4 of an inch is this a problem? And finally the cause of the busted pump was traced to a pressure spike how can this be solved?

The pumps should interchange, not sure what the deal is with the drive.
Most likely the pressure spike occured if the hoe was not installed, and the remote hoses for the hoe were not coupled together.

Do ya'll know the model # of a new pump that will fit a 440?
