Loading a dead 450 onto a flat bed

Post by Lupusrex » Fri Jan 11, 2008 12:27 pm

Hi Guys,

If the 450 I´m trying to take home won´t start and run onto the flat bed I´m using it to take it home, what is the correct procedure to get it towed onto the truck? Neutral on G-box and a slow to tow onto the truck or....??
Any info most appreciated.

Put the 4speed into neutral to do your job .You can still use the steering clutches to fine tune your trailer entrance over the tail if you need to .The power shift is in front of the 4speed so it wont turn if the 4 speed collar shift is left between gears someplace .Digitup.
