These are pictures of my MC that were taken in Oct 2000 before we recovered it. In the years since, its been waiting patiently for my shop to get built and other things that got in the way. I'm sure to be asking for help from the members of this forum advice once we get into it. I was given this crawler for hauling it away. Other than having a 40C grill and guard, it appears to be complete. Unfortunately, it was left outside and water has gotten into the manifold, so a full teardown will be necessary. The damage to hood and gas tank are as a result of some idiots falling trees for fun prior to the property being purchased by friends. I already have those parts and will be looking for more eventually. Sorry about the pictures but they are all I have for now. We'll take some more to post once the work actually starts.

There are some very nice restorations that have been done MCs and 40Cs in the years I've been following the various forums. My inspiration for getting this MC came from Ron Mitchell who did a complete rebuild on his a number of years ago. Photos of his are still out there somewhere alothough I haven't heard from him for some time. Since those days, I have discovered this forum and regularly check out the excellent work done by members here. I'm looking forward to getting into mine before too long.
