Drive sprocket covers: what models had them?

Post by uppercanada » Thu Feb 05, 2009 3:31 am

Is it possible that I seen a 40c with covers on the rear drive sprockets... thought this started with the 420c? Maybe it was an option on 40c?

Maybe it was 420c undercarriage parts fitted to a 40c ? (Is this possible?)

Any MCs ever get the drivesprocket covers?

The track frames and tracks from the 420 series can be put on the
40c.Ideally 420 sprockets should be used but worn 40 sprockets
can accomodate the larger 420 bushings.JimAnderson

40's could have come with sprocket shields, both 4 roller and 5 roller.
