JD Fuel Return Tube

Post by tommyboy » Tue Jul 07, 2009 6:59 pm

Lavoy,
Do you have a fuel return tube for a JD 1010 Crawler?
I lost the pet cock valve, so I need to just replace the whole thing.
I need the part that threads into the bottom of the fuel tank.

I do not, sorry. The return line can be rubber hose, it won't hurt. I think that fitting may be current, but terrible price. If you are going to convert to rubber hose, I would get a standard valve, and put a barb fitting into it.

What about the tube that goes up into the tank, can that be rubber too?

The part in the tank is just a shut off valve. I think it is 1/4" NPT in the tank, just get a small brass valve that has 1/4" NPT male threads on one end, and whatever on the other. Get a hose barb that will thread onto the other end, and hook up your hose.
