left side steering

i have a 56 40c dozer,my left side steering handle now goes past the stopping point as opposed to the right,and i am losing left side steering, no noises or anything, is my handle not adjusted right maybe, can it even be adjusted, how much of a job to change steering clutch, thanks km

Sounds like your brake band may have broken in two, or your clutch is grossly out of adjustment. If you tackle a clutch, make sure you have a parts and service manual for reference.
