radiator

Post by pburke » Fri Oct 02, 2009 8:58 pm

Need radiator for 450B. Part number AT116777 or AT39009. Should be same from 450B to E and 455D to E and 400G. Good used, can't go price of new. Was looking on Bulldig website but now getting security alert when trying to search that site. Can someone help?

What is wrong with your rad why don't you get yours recorded instead of a new rad it's a lot cheaper to just get a new core!. Digitup.

digitup is 100% right, unless the tanks are bad, which rarely happens, recore it if you can.

Had little oil fire. Got hot enough to blow neck out of it. Thought about core but can't find any info on it. Haven't been to rad shop, figured was hopeless case. Tanks are probably o k. Would need neck fixed. Thanks

I have an old timer near me,he solders necks, oil coolers, cores on and off all day.
the best thing is those radiators were built to be repaired and recored, check a radiator shop if you have one nearby, they should be able to fix you up.

Recore radiator

Post by np205 » Sun Oct 04, 2009 8:44 pm

Didn't have mine re-cored, but did have both transmission cooler and radiator cleaned out and soldered.
Had broken vent tube, loose joints on tanks, and a hole in transmission cooler.

Radiator shop repaired all problems.

Was around $150 for repairs.
Have had no problems with it since.

'Cept now I have to take the nose back off because the main hydraulic hose is leaking. Should have replaced it while I was in there for the radiator repair...
