Almost done with the lube/service so I can move some dirt this spring and I find this under the hood. No mention of it in the "Lubrication" or "Service" section of my owners manual. To me looks like an oil accumulator like a race car would use. It has hard lines plumbed to it, they look like low pressure single flare. Its filled almost to the top with oil.
Its the round cannister above the alternator.
What is it, and do I need to do anything as far as servicing it?
Thanks in advance... again!
Rick

Power Steering
This is your power steering resovoir. Look under the operators seat, you will see two hydraulic cylinders mounted between the steering levers and the steering cluches.

Thanks,
I new someone would have the answer.
I found the cylinders under the seat when I was drying out the clutches a couple months ago. Never thought that since I had power steering I might need a resevior somewhere. I figured it ran off the main hydraulics somehow.
Luckily the reservior is full and the fluid looks clean.

Previous owner put the small filter in there. Not sure why either. I have new filters that are going on, so I probably take that one out.
Thanks for the answers.
