350 d hydraulic pressure

the hydraulic filter O ring blew out while operating yesterday, the filter may not have been on tight enough,...didnt need a filter wrench to remove.

any ideas?

If they aren't tight that is the first thing to go .The filter should be lubed with some oil all the way around and hand tight ,You can feel the filter seal set in as you tighten down.Digitup.
