you can go to any detroit shop and most aftermarket will sell by the hole as they made 2-53 3-53 4-53 6v53 8v53 only the gaskets are different

Unless your other liner is also brand new, may want to consider replacing both at one time.
If one is just slightly worn, it will kill your power compared to a totally fresh rebuilt engine.

ya the motor was overhauled and then sat,, hence one valve was sitting open and allowed some pitting of the upper 1/2" of the new liner,, not bad, i did hone out the crude and it looks like it would work without harming the top ring but i am afraid it would probably loose compression at the last part of the stroke,,, i called DD and one new liner is $196 plus ship.
i suppose i could put it back together as is and see what i get...
i think the sleeve is about .003 over the piston size now,,, how loose can i go? ,, if i can go another few thousanths i think the remaining pitting/(very minimal at that point) will be acceptable.
top ring appears good.

pop pop-- the top ring is the "fire ring" and if it starts to let compression by due to too much honing, you will destroy your cylinder kit (piston, liner, and upper rings) I will see what my friend that is still in the business gets for a liner and let you know---J.M.O. I wouldnt chance it unless you dont take out much more and has been to long since I worked for DDED to tell from memory how much clearance you can get by with and my books are in storage, sorry.
