1956 JD 420c for sale or trade. It has a 6 way blade. The right hand side does not turn as easily as the left. The adjustment for both sides on the brakes is maxed out. I have the materials for the brakes and the rivets, I just dont want to do the job. LOL (I have done it before)
The pins and bushings have minimal wear on them, maybe a eigth of an inch into the bushing. Engine runs strong and it will work if you want it to. There is a sand pit next door if you want to try it out. Every one needs a sand pile to play in, grin.
What I would like to find is a rubber tired tractor that I can use for a people mover during the fairs or something near equivelant value. I would like to sell this at the appraised value of $4500 (or trade).

520 will run up to and maybe over 6,000 lbs depending on equipment and weights/weighting. The 520 replaced the 50, which replaced the B. I think they are in the 35HP range, but don't quote me. Overall length again can vary, but in the neighborhood of 12'.

I'm interested, but Maine is just a little too far. I have my eye on 2 in Wisconsin right now. I think it would be a good deal. Tom.

So some one from this board contacted me yesterday, he told the fellow that I was going to do the trade with that my tractor needed pins and bushings. Upon his thoughts he said it was a two thousand dollars for clutch repair.
Granted it needs steering brakes, sure it would be a good idea to replace the clutches at the same time. Yet "Eric" told him he would have to spend more than the cost of the tractor to do this.
I saw a sign in Radio Shack that is most fitting. Samson slew a thousand Philistines with the jawbone of an ass. The same weapon was used by some one yesterday that killed the trade for the tractor. Grrrrr.

hello willyr, i hope someone isnt using my name to bad mouth your dozer. you can buy both sides to redo the brakes and clutches for about a 1000$. and i dont know how someone that has never seen your dozer can assume that the pins and bushings would be gone. i know the economy is bad but i would think someone would jump at that deal.uncle henrys or craigslist has alot of views each week.good luck..Eric.

delivery is possible after purchase
I would need to be compensated for diesel and tolls if incurred.
