Low pressure grease gun

Post by Mister laugh » Tue Jul 10, 2012 10:13 am

How low of pressure is a low pressure grease gun for the rollers? Is 4500psi low enough that seems to be the lowest I can find in my area.

I think a lot of the guys on here are using the small pistol grip guns. You can feel the pressure change, when you get the roller full of grease, easier.

A modern low pressure gun is not anything close to the original gun that is referenced in the manual. I have one, and I doubt it will do 1000PSI, it is hard enough just to pump corn head grease out of it.
Best bet is a pistol grip gun, unless you can find an original. The new "low pressure guns are a waste of money, low pressure setting is around 4,000PSI.
