JD 450...I think. Help
I am looking at a JD dozer that looks to be a 450 with an outside blade. The tag under the seat says: SN T5F3M 029179T. Can anyone verify what year and model it is? By the way, since this is my first post on this board, is there any good John Deere dozer parts sites or sites to find serial numbers?
this is a 1966 dozer and if you are looking for parts just ask and someone will find them for you. Lavoy has parts for most older Deeres The T5F3M are your machine build letters.A lot of the Deeres from that age were built with the outside mount blade .As contractors belived that they were stronger than the inside mount units of that day.Digitup.
P.S.For those of you who want the numbers I will give them again 10001 to 16159 -1965 first year for 450s 196160 to 42766-1966, 42767 to 649?? -1967, in this area it has a design change and skip to 65000 to 82275-1968, 82276 to 102143-1969, 102144 to 117587 end of production sept 20 ,1970 After that 450B production.Digitup.
