Just finished replacing the brake band on the Left side, putting it back together and in the process of adjusting the clutch and brake. It was easy to adjust the side I had exposed manually but the other side pulls to far in comparison. The service manual calls out to loosen off the stopper bolt and it will self adjust. I tried cycling the lever, no luck.
Do you have to run the machine back and forth to get the self adjuster to tighten ? or do I pull the access cover while it is still apart and set it manually to save the screw'n around ? I would just hate to button it all back and not have the brake self tighten.
Appreciate any feedback.

Adjustment
You just reach in with a flat screwdriver and rotate the auto adjuster thru the pipe plug bung hole.

Okay. The service manual indicates these will self adjust if you back of the stopper bolt. I have the one bolt backed out and will try running it back and forth and see if it tightens. If not, I'll do as you mentioned. The hole really doesn't give you a straight line for prying on the adjuster to get it to turn
