New Dozer Is home, did some work and have a couple questions

Post by JimmyFunk » Sun Mar 09, 2014 6:06 pm

Hi all got my new 350 dozer home. had no issues hauling it and the truck handled it good. The dozer just had the pump rebuilt and the one injector line started spraying today while running it. I am assuming it didn't seal right or needs tightened up. I am assuming this is the same as a 4020 that has the little rings to seal it. It has been a while since I have messed with pumps if I unbolt the line from the pump and put the orings back in it will that line need bleed off from the injector?

When I got the dozer home I pushed some trees out of our field. I used the six way to clean out a ditch. I wish it wasn't so muddy here so I could do more...

make sure that both banjo washers are on the line and just break it lose work it back and froth a few times and crank it down tight should stop it from leaking if not get new banjo washers and replace just MAKE SURE you don't lose one when putting it back together gets VERY expensive don't ask why I know  but it does

Yours looks to be a lot more original than mine. Can you get a photo of the dash area for me?

Just love seeing these old 350's in service. Remember to keep those tracks shovelled.

Thanks for the photos, what does the toggle switch do?

My dash is slightly different with the gauges all lined up in a row.

At least I know what shape to make the reversing knob now.

Thanks
JT
