Buy gasket material at a parts or bearing house, it is available in many thicknesses, and cut your own. Or possibly use the blue stuff.

trans gasket

Post by rock digger » Fri Mar 21, 2014 6:49 pm

The gasket was discontinued by deere long ago, they now use a loctite gasket compuond sold at many parts stores and by deere dealers, I am not sure of the number, but I used it recently on my 450b trans case seemed to seal just fine. Remeber to only tighten those bolts to 35ft.lbs or they can break. I could tell you all about that problem. If you can't find it I can get the number next time I am in my shop. Good Luck,
There is always another rock under this one!
