Mystery Bolts in bottom of 450 HLR

I pulled clutch pump this weekend to change seal and noticed input shaft wobbled around so i pulled front trans cover to check bearing. Bearing was bad. When I pulled front cover in the bottom of it was bearing cage material and 2 pieces of what looked like plow bolts. Head on one of them was about 3/4" wide, other was really chewed up. Top of head you can see machine marks, they are tapered but not enough of them left to see if they had square shoulders like a plow bolt. Bolts are a black color.
Those of you that have been inside a HLR trans are there any countersunk fasteners used that look like that? I went thru all the parts schematics and descriptions and could not find anything like that pictured or described. When I first drained trans I also found 3 of the little metal clips that hold a click type writing pen to your pocket in the oil when I drained it.
Any ideas?

you should say what machine you have i looked at your other posts and it is a 450 some of the others here may be able to help i have 2010s

That was what I was thinking originally but the way there are machine marks on the flat top of the head and the chamfer is perfect I kind of discounted that idea. Thanks for your thoughts. I am hoping that they have been in there for a while and were dropped in by someone for some reason, and I got lucky and they have not destroyed anything yet. When I do the steering clutches I will look at the ring gear to make sure.
