Hi Howe, since you asked my name is Gary. If you go back to threads in 2006 you will see I was very naïve about crawlers as well. I was very well versed in auto mechanics but like Stan said crawlers was a whole new world for me. Almost 2000 posts later I am much more up to speed on crawler basics but still learn every day from this board which is why I participate. I really enjoy reading and learning from those that operate and work on Deere crawlers all their lives like Lavoy, Jdemaris, Digitup2 , etc (not trying to leave anyone out).

Anyhow is the crawler at your house? We would really like to know what your serial number is to help you better- if you are concerned about privacy you don't have to give the last three digits but knowing whether it is a straight 350, 350B, or 350C would be really helpful.

Hi,

Just in case you have not found this in the FAQ section, the 350 serial number thread:

http://www.jdcrawlers.com/messageboard/ ... php?t=2410

Make sure you grab the data off the plate sort of hidden under the seat, and not the one more readily visible on the loader attachment. ;)
