JD 550 "C" frame
C frame broke on the 550 I just bought and I found a good used one advertised for a 450c, will it work on my 550?
JD 550 dozer, Case 1845c skid steer, Case IH 5140 tractor, Case IH 5130 tractor, Case IH 80 tractor, Kioti 3054 tractor
550 c-frame
there are two part numbers for these frames..
bu10749 is for ser # 296764 and under for 450c
at58689 is for ser# 296765 and up for 450c
if the 450c frame has almost the same serial number as your 550 it will fit. there is a serial number break for the 550 as well which corresponds within just a few of the 450 numbers,
