Well apparently I knocked one of belly pans loose on the import JD350. I have bent the pan.
It was the rear one, but I noticed the front appears to be hanging low.
Does anyone know the bolt size for these pans?
I have to block up the crawler and get under it tomorrow. I would like to have the bolts on hand to fix it.
Thanks

Ok, I guess it's one pan and it's going to take some serious hammering.
Looks like it's awkward to remove and install. Any tips?

Bolts are probably 5/8" x 1 1/2" NC Grade 8 and the pan should be in front and rear parts. Flat and lock washers on most and four or more have nuts. The captive square nuts in the side frame (front section) are prone to rust and seizing, then spinning. Be ready to burn off bolts, take off the side frames, and weld in new boxes for new captive nuts if you take off the front section.

JMO. OP has very good suggestions, but I believe that grade 5 bolts should suffice for this application, and they are less expensive. Remove the pan and beat it back into the best shape you can cold or with heat, otherwise you'll be underneath it cursing. Bottle jacks, tapered alignment drifts and prayers help. Good luck. Paul

I took one of mine off, and straightened it out, by putting it up on blocks of firewood and running my tracks over it...several times.
Much easier than beating on it, and it did a pretty good job. You'll still need a bottle jack to get the back end bolts in though.
