Hope I don't sound like a dummy but have a new to me JD 350 with a manual blade. Looking for information on how to angle the blade. When I pull one of the pins, can slide one side of the blade out some but not enough to catch a second pin hole. Do I need to mess with other ins at the blade attachment to give room for angle? Can anyone help?
Thanks.
David

Hi,
My 350 manual blade was outside mount, and it sounds like yours is inside mount and like the inside mount manual blades for the earlier machines.
If so, then you have to pull the vertical pin on the tilt mount on the left hand side where the blade attaches to the left hand extension arm. That has three holes in it for the vertical pin.
Once the pin is driven out - from the bottom - then you can pull the horizontal pin on either side of the blade frame and slide it out to the extended hole and replace the horizontal pin.
If you do not pull the vertical pin, the slide cannot move far enough. And, that sounds like where you are at right now.
Hopefully, I have guessed this correctly. The only blades I ever saw on a 350 are either the outside mount manual or the inside mount Power Angle Tilt ones. But, of course, I can see where they might have had a variant on the older style inside mount manual blade for the 350.
