450b dozer steering clutches
450b dozer steering clutches
I'm installing new steering clutches in my 450b. I had to buy 2 new drums and new metal and metallic discs. When I installed the new discs they stick up above the drum but level with the hub. Is this normal? The count is right, 9 metallic and 8 steel. I checked the thickness, the steel are 10mm and the metallics are 20mm. ? Your measurements seem off, what is thickness in SAE decimal?

New spec is .105, so that is not the issue. Bolt the pressure plate on and see if the fingers adjust.
