We had 60cm about 25 inches in early Octobeer. Went out on the mountain sleds and had a great ride. All melted in two weeks and the combines have been back out for the last 10 days or so. We still had 20% of the crop out in the fields then, hopefully it all gets in the bin on this recent mild weather at home. The wind has been coming up from the USA and has brought much needed warm dry air. That was 20% of 65 million acres of crop. Im in Mexico for a few more days but we are hoping to get some nice snow for Christmas !

hearing stories of crops getting snowed over brings back memories.
once it snowed we hardly ever got back in the (corn)fields. the cattle would have to clean it up and also would make great cover and feed for the pheasants.

Hi,
Hit the high 70s here in NC today. All we have is thick smoke from 300 miles West settling down into the river valley....

We are lookin' for our first frost tonite. (got the green tomatos in) We are over 10" ahead of our usual annual rainfall but it is still gettin' plenty dry. Cannot imagine the Carolinas's problems though.

Been two winters of awful tough sledding here, getting sick of it. If I wanted this crap, I would move down with Pop pop.
