350B steering clutch housing drain location
350B steering clutch housing drain location
I feel pretty stupid but I've looked multiple times and cannot find any drain plugs. I see like a non removable casting plug maybe 1" and also another indented hole maybe 3/8" but it definitely does not go straight through nor is it threaded. Does anyone have a picture or detailed description how to locate? Is it possible I don't have drains for some reason?

The 350 and 350B use dry clutches and don't need a drain plug. If you have oil
in the clutch housing, you have a seal leaking.

I know they are dry I want to make sure no moisture/water in there it sits outside a lot. I can't find anything flush or not
Re: 350B steering clutch housing drain location
Parts manual shows a 1/4" pipe plug. A quick search on the web for 350B steering clutch housings and look at images, turns up photos of each a left and right housing at Wenger's. One has the plug visible and the other doesn't. The view isn't the best, but one without a plug doesn't appear to have the casting boss drilled and tapped for a plug. Maybe some got out without the plug provisions.

Thanks I searched and couldn't find a pic. Maybe I'll just have to drill mine out. I just never heard of them coming with no plugs but thought I was missing something
