What is this part called? Where can I find one? Will I go bankrupt paying for it?
This is not mine. Mine had been repaired but whoever welded it didn't do very good job. I repaired mine but it is not up to snuff. The wedges don't hold the blade. It will have to be done over.

Check out the parts catalog for a 616 blade. I think this is the page showing your part (Item 22 - Lock, clamp, Part # U15553)
https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/sid ... pgId/97938 . As you likely already know or can guess JD says NLA from anything I found. Did you send Lavoy an email (
postmaster@jdcrawlers.com) to see if he had any ideas? Hopefully someone here knows of a used one or a salvage yard that might have one.

Hi,
These are the things we tell folks they will never find one of when they bust one after making a power-angle-tilt conversion.
I think the only way to get one is by buying a parts machine. So, my first check would be with Lavoy. He has some parts machines.

Difficult at best to find, impossible at worst because no one parts out blades. You sell one piece, and the blade is now junk and can't be sold. At one time I had a spare, but not sure it is that one, might have been from a 62 blade. I can check if you want.

Good morning,
If you can't find one, and you likely plan on this, I would take the pieces to a good fab/machine shop and see if they could repair it or duplicate it in steel. It might be pricey but options appear limited.
