Where can I get the shaft seal for a 350B hydraulic pump? There is no name or number on it. The pump has no name on it either.
The numbers I found on the pump: 24307 LAD
2A 10 TS

Re: 350B pump seal
If your machine has been kept original to its OEM, then your seal is John Deere part number (AT59652) Your pump will be a Cessna pump and depending on your serial number and whether it is a loader or a dozer will determine what size it is. Typically the dozer has a smaller pump than the loader does. They both have the same shaft size and seal however. You can also have the Deere part number crossed to other brands of seal. These machines are old and have possibly had a lot of modifications. Ive seen several different pumps that have been adapted to fit. Which makes it fun to find seals and kits for them. So make sure what your pump is and go from there. The JD Parts page will have your pump pictured in a parts break down and you can compare to see if your pump is OEM or not.
40 plus years working on JD 350s, 400Gs, 450s and other equipment both Ag and Construction.
Re: 350B pump seal
A search of the 24307 LAD brings up a site showing it as a CESSNA - EATON pump. Eaton acquired Cessna in 1988. So your pump is likely the original.
Here are the specs for the seal, AT59652, for the 23 GPM pump, posted by LeonardL.
Here are the specs for the seal, AH15442, for the 15 GPM pump. The shaft and OD are smaller on this one.

Re: 350B pump seal
Jim B--WOW!!!! Your knowledge on these old machines amazes me. Between you and Lavoy, seems there's no question you can't answer.
I think I need to remeasure this pump I'm working on. I guess I should use the mics instead of my calipers. I got OD 1.112--ID .830--tall/thick .245...
I'll measure with the micrometer and see what I come up with. Thank you for the excellent info, Greg

Re: 350B pump seal
Good morning Greg,
I only expanded on what LeonardL posted for you. There may be other pumps. I looked at a 6305 dozer as your tag line has 350B with 6way and it shows 15 and a 23 GPM pumps. I have an account with both the local AG and Construction dealer which lets me see info on most parts when I check part number while using the on line catalogs. I figured the measurements would help you ID you pump better.
