2010 Generator problems.

Can someone point me in the direction of how to test the generator and the regulator on my 2010 diesel? When I got the crawler someone had hooked up the battery as a negative ground system.

First, are you sure that it wasn't converted to negative ground. I converted mine to neg ground.
Second, I would polarize the generator and then check the output voltage off idle.
If that is fine check the voltage at the regulator.
