Where do you buy your parts?
Where do you buy your parts?
Im looking for a few parts to rebuild a final drive on my 350c. I have the bearings but damage was done to the spacers. I might even need a new shaft. I have scoured the web for new parts but I know there are some places that sell used parts as well. Where do you find your parts?

Here, then ebay, then local dealer as a last resort. The JD dealer in Fairbanks isn't bad, but isn't cheap and doesn't stock much for my old machine.

Just in case you were unaware, I do sell parts too. Parts sales is what supports this message board. I don't have everything, but I do handle a lot of parts.

Perfect, What im looking for is T105226 washer for final drive. Also possibly a spindle AT18946 for the final drive. Found everything else already, didnt think to look here. What I have is a 350CE but I think it has been reconfigured like a normal 350C, no wide tracks.
Re: Where do you buy your parts?
The E after the 350C stands for Diesel, Inside Blade according to the on line Introduction section of the 350C parts book. Does that match the engine and blade on yours? The wide tracks had a W designation.

Re: Where do you buy your parts?
Yes, diesel and 6 way blade. I was told by the person I purchased it from the "E" stands for extended track. Makes sense what you are saying because mine is not an extended track or wide track. There is one difference I see in most online photos and such online. When I look at other 350 dozers the lower output shaft can be accessed from the back side under the dozer without removing the final drive by way of oval access plate. Mine does not have that access plate, it is all enclosed within the final drive and only accessible of you remove the final drive. Also the brakes do not come off with the final drive as they are mounted within the chasse of the machine. All of the parts for the final drive look the same at listed in the JD parts catalog and after going over what parts I have and what I need I realized I also need spacer T59766. Any help locating these would be great
Re: Where do you buy your parts?
Something is odd, no 350's have the brake come off with the final drive, they always stay in the housing. Final drive design is by and large the same too, all should have access to the inner axle bearing from underneath.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Its raining here today but I will try and get you a picture of the other side that is still on the dozer so you can see, there is no oval access cover. As for the brake coming off, I seen that on a youtube video of someone doing a repair. I may just not understand what's going on in the video.
Re: Where do you buy your parts?
I was able to get a photo of my dozer to show you there is no access plate, maybe this will help? Is there a way I can send it to you?

Re: Where do you buy your parts?
This is my machine. as you can see the bottom of the mounting does now have the same notch for the oval access cap as the 3rd picture which is one I found on the internet.
Re: Where do you buy your parts?
You can not just look at generic 350 pictures and learn anything specific. The pics you post are of 2 different series crawlers, and they have no relationship to each other as far as final drives case, steering clutches, etc.
You have a C model, the only relevant to you crawler regarding steering clutches will be C model and later.

I am in need of 2 parts. Bushing T43409 and Spacer T59766. Do you have those for sale?
Re: Where do you buy your parts?
Those I would check with Deere first, I have nothing used, and don't believe the aftermarket ever offered them.
