Wireing harness
I have a 420 (1949) J. D. crawler taht Im switching from A six volt system to a twelve.I have everthing but need a wireing harness it has a delco alternater. can you help me find one? thanks Larry

The wiring harness on these is really not that complicated. If you have a service manual, it basically lays it out.
I know some folks make harnesses for the original crawler, but not sure if they make them for an alternator.

All the harnesses I know about are made to original spec, I don't know of anyone making a harness that is for an alternator, just not enough market for it. No big deal anyhow, if you are using a one wire alternator, all you need is a single wire from the alternator to the amp gauge, or to the battery if you are not going to use an amp gauge.
