fuel fittings

Should I use teflon tape on the fitting threads that screws into the fuel pump?

Yes... Just don't use too much. Wrap it once and then don't over tighten the fitting.
40 plus years working on JD 350s, 400Gs, 450s and other equipment both Ag and Construction.

Thanks for the reply. I used the tape making sure it was 3-4 threads from the end and its working well, no leaks.
